My association with Brother Dennis began in the 1980's in the attic of Saint Mary's College as he and a group of volunteers sorted through musty old papers searching for any information about Moraga. There was the challenge of getting these things organized so that they could be useful. Our space was limited and the working conditions were less than desirable but working with Brother Dennis was an education and an inspiration!

My association continued through all of those years, our move into the small room in the Moraga Library and into our Moraga History Center in 1999. Until his death, Brother Dennis was available for consultation when we needed an authority on Moraga History. He made a great contribution to Moraga and to my life.
