The History Center Archives is a fine depository for all things pertaining to the original Moraga Rancho (Rancho Laguna de Los Palos Colorados).

 

Our collection includes artifacts from the first native american inhabitant and documents and clippings going back to our first pioneers and settlers. Our files contain land maps and deeds, newspapers and newspaper articles, publications, photographs, books relating to the history of California and oral history cassettes.

  • History of "Rancho Laguna de Los Palos Colorados" and the Moraga Rancho area histories which include the town of Moraga and the communities of Lafayette, Orinda, Canyon. and Valle Vista.

Copying:

  • Copying permitted with some restrictions;
    15 cents per page.

Other Fees:

  • Minimum for e-mail response and mail requests $10.00
  • Copies on archive's copier $0.35
  • Photocopying - per photo plus mailing cost $5.00
